VM Browser
by VedhasMatrix

A browser that stays out of your screen share.

VM Browser is a full browser for Windows. Share your screen, record a demo or take a screenshot: the VM Browser window doesn't show in it. Your notes, chats and tabs stay on your side.

Free to use. Pro starts with a 15-minute free trial, no card needed.

What Pro adds

Hidden from screen sharing Pro

Windows leaves VM Browser out of screen shares in Meet, Zoom and Teams, out of recordings, and out of screenshots. You still see it as normal.

Installing

  1. Open the downloaded VM-Browser-Setup file.
  2. Windows may show "Windows protected your PC". Choose More info, then Run anyway. This shows for new apps that aren't widely downloaded yet; it shows only once.
  3. VM Browser opens. Go to Settings › Account to sign in or create an account and start the free trial.
VM Browser updates itself, so you won't see the Windows message again.

Questions

Does it work on Mac or Linux?

Windows first. Hiding a window from capture needs Windows 10 version 2004 or later, or Windows 11. A Mac version may follow.

Is anything hidden besides the window?

Only the VM Browser window and the menus inside it. Windows' own dialogs, such as printing or saving a file, and system notifications are separate windows and can show.

What happens when the trial or a plan ends?

VM Browser keeps working as a normal browser with the free features. Your bookmarks, passwords and history stay on your computer.

Can I use it offline?

Yes. A paid plan keeps working for up to 3 days without internet, then checks in again.

How do teams work?

Buy a seat per person, then give seats by email under Account › People. Each person signs in to VM Browser with that email.

Can I cancel?

Any time, from your account. Pro keeps working until the end of the period you paid for.
